Mulberry Grove Store is proudly run by Steve and Na, supported by a dedicated team of locals who know the island inside and out. From Chit's incredible Thai Kitchen to Pete's legendary Sunday doughnuts, every part of the Grove reflects the warmth and character of Great Barrier Island.

A Community Meeting Ground

More than a store, Mulberry Grove is where the community comes together. It's where you catch up on island news over a flat white, grab supplies for a fishing trip, and run into friends you haven't seen in a while. We proudly support local producers, community events, and the unique way of life on Aotea.

We're located in Tryphena, the southern gateway to Great Barrier Island. Open 7 days a week from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm — rain or shine. Pop in, say hello, and grab what you need.
